I do not approve of Canelo Alvarez. On Sunday, the Mexican fighter won the WBO super middleweight crown after knocking out Billy Joe Saunders in the eighth round with an uppercut from hell.
After the fight, the British team quit on the stool, which generated some significant problems. Replays proved how devastating Alvarez’s precise uppercut was mere minutes after the fight, putting to rest any reservations Saunders’ team had about stopping their boxer from stepping back out for the next round.

Saunders’ condition doesn’t appear to be good, according to the Matchroom Boxing fight promoter. The 31-year-old stated, “When I got hit, I got hit with the shot and I remember it very, very vividly,” when speaking with White and Jordan on talkSPORT. “Oh, that’s a good shot, I thought; that’s a good shot.”

Eddie Hearn, BJ’s promoter, said that his client will be having surgery this coming Sunday; it is currently unknown how the procedure went. Hearn warned Coppinger that Saunders’ rehabilitation would take several months, and it now appears unlikely that Saunders will be able to return to the ring.
