Stormi You Look Like Mommy Baby Original

The beauty tycoon shared a video of her daughter’s reaction to the “Stormi, you look like mother, baby” sound on TikTok on July 6.

We may safely assume that the 4-year-old enjoys it. The video showed Kylie and Stormi smiling and laughing along with the music.

Kylie Playing Stormi’s Favourite Song

This isn’t the first time the mother-daughter team has been an online phenomenon, either. No one will ever forget Kylie playing Stormi’s favourite song, “Rise and Shine,” when she woke her up from a nap.

Like when the reality star’s daughter, who was just two at the time, was caught showing off her prowess on the snowboard.

It’s not the first time these two have caused a media stir online. Kylie shared another adorable video of her and Stormi lip-syncing later that day “Having more than one cover girl is the best thing ever. A pair of cover girls!”

This video, uploaded to TikTok by user @stormiibabii in the early fall, is the source of the “Stormi” soundtrack. In the clip, a snarky Stormi can be heard saying, “Are you kidding me?” while Kylie gushes, “Stormi, you look like mommy, baby!”

It’s possible that the audio was recorded by the famous mother and daughter, but I can’t say for sure because @stormiibabii is a popular parody account known for its spot-on vocal impersonations of Jenner and her daughter (complete with TikTok’s “green screen” effect).

Many have theorised that @stormiibabii is Kylie’s hidden TikTok account, but the verdict on this mystery, like so many others involving the Kardashian-Jenner family, will have to wait.

The clip, posted by user @stormiibabii in September, is a satire of Stormi’s Halloween outfit, which is a knockoff of her mom’s 2019 Met Gala gown. More than 145,000 videos have featured the sound since then, many of which you likely encountered when browsing your FYP in late 2021.

Common examples of this trend include “when I witness my daughter sobbing & shaving her long hair off after getting her heart crushed” and “when I see my daughter arriving home after a late night and scarfing down $60 of Taco Bell.”

Last Words

The sound has been interpreted in a variety of ways by users, such as @jacobemile’s note to his houseplant, which reads, “When your plant appears nice but is dying within. “Naturally, the viral sound caused Jenner and Stormi to laugh.
